Bachelor Marketing and International Business - Success without borders

The Bachelor's degree program Marketing & International Business prepares you optimally for a career in global business. You will acquire solid specialist knowledge in marketing and international management, combined with practical experience through corporate projects and an integrated compulsory semester abroad. Thanks to studying entirely in English, you will be ideally equipped for the international job market. After successful completion, you can deepen your knowledge in a Master's degree course such as Business Management.

Admission Requirements

The general requirements for university admission apply. In addition, this program has restricted admission. This means there is a numerus clausus (NC, a minimum grade requirement) or other special criteria. Only a limited number of applicants will be offered a place through a selection process. To be admitted to the English-language bachelor's program in Marketing & International Business, you must also provide proof of English language proficiency at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The following certificates or diplomas are considered valid proof:

  • C1 certificate from the Goethe-Institut (GI)
  • German Language Diploma of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (DSD) Level II (proof: C1 level)
  • DSH-2 (German Language Test for University Admission)
  • TestDaF (at least four times 4 points)
  • Austrian Language Diploma German (ÖSD) - C1
  • telc German C1 University
  • UNIcert® III or IV certificate
  • TOEFL® Internet-Based Test (iBT) or TOEFL iBT Home Edition with at least 95 points
  • Cambridge English C1 Advanced (CAE) with at least 180 points
  • IELTS “Academic” or IELTS Online with at least 7 points in each section
  • Pearson Test of English – PTE Academic or PTE Academic Online with at least 76 points
  • Cambridge English C2 Proficiency (CPE)

Studying Course

The Marketing & International Business program combines international business fundamentals with specialized marketing know-how. In the first two semesters, you will acquire a solid foundation in areas such as Business Administration, Digital Transformation and Applied AI & New Technologies, in English and with an international focus.

 

From the third semester onwards, you will deepen your knowledge in modules such as Consumer Research, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, B2B Marketing, Marketing Research, Applied Digital Marketing Practices and International Business. You will spend the fifth semester at a partner university abroad, which will strengthen your intercultural skills and open up international perspectives. The program concludes with a practical project phase and the Bachelor's thesis, in which you apply the knowledge you have acquired.
