Your tasks:
- Assistance with orientation at the university and in Koblenz
- Integration into the student body
- Support in finding accommodation
- Individual support with everyday issues
- Joint participation in International Office activities (at least once a month)
Depending on the students you are assigned to support, you will have different areas of focus:
Visiting students from our partner universities arrive about 4 weeks before the official start of the semester and need more intensive support at the beginning of their semester abroad. This includes picking them up from the train station, accompanying them to government offices, and helping them with questions about life in Germany. Communication is mainly in English.
Full-time students have often already been in Germany for some time. Here, the focus is on providing support at the start of their studies and helping them integrate socially into the student body. Communication should be in German, as many international students
