Financing your studies: Scholarships
International students have various options for applying for a scholarship.
We accept scholarship applications exclusively via the OLAT-course Kompass International.
DAAD Scholarships
1. DAAD Graduation Scholarship
- for international Bachelor’s (from the 4th to the 7th semester) and Master’s students (from the 2nd to the 5th semester)
- Graduation within one year
- Application deadlines: 20 April and 20 September
2. DAAD Scholarship for Outstanding Commitment
- you are an international student
- you have been studying at Hochschule Koblenz for at least two semesters and have achieved good to very good results in your studies so far
- you have contributed to Hochschule Koblenz through outstanding commitment in an international context alongside your studies.
- Application deadline: 10 July each year
3. Scholarship for Greater Equality of Opportunity
- you are an international student
- you are enrolled in your 1st to 3rd semester
- you face one of the following challenges in your studies:
- Refugee background (and not a BaFöG recipient)
- A disability of at least 50% or a chronic illness
- Caring for minor children in your own household (particularly single parents)
- Caring for first- and second-degree relatives
- Application deadlines: 15 February and 15 July
Scholarship Foundation of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate
- for international Bachelor’s students (from the 3rd to the 7th semester)
- and Master’s students (from the 2nd to the 5th semester)
- Application deadline: 20 September
DAAD - Award
DAAD Award
- for international students with excellent academic achievements and outstanding social and cultural engagement.
- Nomination deadline: 10 July
